Osiris Development’s BatteryBar has been around for a while, so this isn’t totally new. However, BatteryBar is something you should be aware of if you regularly find yourself in scenarios where your computer isn’t always plugged in.
Fortunately, aside than providing a better battery monitor than Windows default, that’s all there is to know.
It functions in a rather neat way. Installing BatteryBar’s free version on your computer is the first step. Then all you have to do is set it up to your liking and press “dash”. Next, it will display your battery level, percentage of remaining charge, percentage of full charge, and the amount of time it took to fully charge your battery to full capacity.
